Since the last edition, the Pau Gasol Academy by Santander has been working on the implementation of measures to achieve a more environmentally responsible campus model, and this new water policy represents a significant step by eliminating the consumption of single-use plastics. In addition, this collaboration with Aquaservice also aims to emphasize the importance of hydration as an essential habit for optimal performance in sports and daily life. Together with the Gasol Foundation, the academy promotes healthy lifestyle habits, integrating hydration as a fundamental part.
With this partnership, Aquaservice is committed to providing quality water in a more sustainable format, through customized water dispensers and thermal bottles, for all participants, coaches and staff involved in the campus activities. This will allow participants to refill their bottles at all times, without generating single-use plastic waste and thus promoting convenient and sustainable hydration. The company is carrying out this initiative as part of its 'Sustainable Sports and Culture' program, which promotes a model for transforming competitions and events into a more sustainable version, with the aim of generating a lower environmental impact in the environments where they are held.

Throughout the week there will be an “Aquaservice Moment” during training breaks, which will consist of a hydration break where the positive effects of water on sports performance will be disseminated.
