Offsetting our emissions opens the door to collaborating on incredible projects that tuck away and breathe new life into our forests.
In Galicia, in Pontevedra, Aquaservice collaborates with CO₂ Revolution in an ambitious reforestation project in the municipality of Cercedo-Cotobade, where more than 5,000 trees have already been planted.
Pine trees, oaks, holm oaks, hawthorns, native species of the area, will return in a few years to revive several hectares affected by the fires. We compensate by reviving.
In the Sierra de Gredos, in Ávila, Aquaservice collaborates with the "Bosques Sostenibles" Association, another ambitious project for the recovery of our forests which, unfortunately, have suffered terrible fires. There we planted more than 3,000 wild pines that will compensate the carbon dioxide in a natural way.
We get involved.
We believe in what we do. That's why more than 30 volunteers from Aquaservice con Alma, our Social Responsibility project, volunteered their time and planted more than 600 trees in the Sierra de Alapardo in Madrid.
To offset the carbon footprint, it is not enough to plant new trees. It is necessary to protect the planet's existing green lungs. That is why Aquaservice collaborates with the REDD Madre de Dios project in Peru's Amazon rainforest.
It protects and conserves Peruvian biodiversity in an area of more than 12,000 hectares, home to four species of flora and eleven species of fauna that are in danger of extinction.
Of course. Our heart is also green.That is why our Corporate Social Responsibility project involves the direct participation of our staff who, as part of Aquaservice’s network of volunteers, join the direct actions organized by “Aquaservice con Alma” (Aquaservice with Soul). Environmental cleanup projects in protected areas or in the physical planting of trees that offset the carbon footprint, always count on the smile of our people and their families.
There are two frameworks for offsetting our carbon footprint. On the one hand, we actively participate in reforestation and, on the other, we protect biodiversity as a treasure for the planet.
In reforestation projects, Aquaservice collaborates in the planting of native species that were devastated by fire in the areas of Sierra de Gredos and Cerdedo-Cotobade in Pontevedra.
At the same time, in order for the green lung to continue to generate oxygen, it is necessary to protect them.In this regard, Aquaservice collaborates with the REDD Madre de Dios project, which promotes the conservation of the Peruvian Amazon.

To achieve our certification, at Aquaservice we work very focused on the three actions.To this end, AENOR verifies both the calculation and the compensation of 100% of CO2 emissions in all the operations we carry out during a year.
Having calculated the extent of our carbon footprint, we not only work to reduce emissions with an increasingly environmentally responsible business model, but we also activate our compensation plan, reforesting and participating in projects that conserve and protect biodiversity.
