Aquaservice, the leading company in the distribution of bottled water with dispenser in Spain, has recently acquired Eden Springs Portugal, the leading company in Portugal in the distribution of bottled water with dispenser. Aquaservice's objective with this acquisition is to continue its growth strategy in the Iberian Peninsula.
Today, Eden Springs Portugal employs 150 people: more than 40,000 customers and has its own spring located in Coruche (Lisbon). In recent years, Eden Springs Portugal has been the market leader in the Bottled Water Coolers category. Until now, EDEN Springs Portugal was owned by Primo Water Corporation.
With this purchase, Aquaservice seeks to continue to grow and consolidate its position as the leader in the Iberian Peninsula as the leader in the distribution of bottled water with dispensers. Furthermore, with the acquisition, the company aims to achieve synergies that will benefit the group's growth in the coming years.

Prior to the acquisition of Eden Springs Portugal, Aquaservice had six of its own production centres located in the natural mineral water springs of Cogollos de Guadix (Granada), Ribagorza (Huesca), Camporrobles (Valencia), Virgen del Camino (León), Ingenio (Gran Canaria) and Corgas Largas (Portugal), as well as 63 branches in the main provinces, enabling it to provide its service to more than 700,000 customers.
